Tofu scramble

Tofu scramble is an alternative to scrambled egg. I use Indian black salt so it tastes like eggs. This super easy recipe is an excellent breakfast option. It’s high in protein and very healthy. You can serve it on toast or wrap it up in a tortilla. Garnish with whatever you like. I recommend tomatoes and green onion. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 block tofu, firm
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Indian black salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika

Instructions

  • Heat pan to a medium heat.
  • Mash tofu with a fork.
  • Place tofu on the pan, along with spices, and mix well.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes, mixing intermittently.
  • Serve tofu scramble on a toast with cherry tomatoes and chives, or your choice of garnish.
