Don’t you think that watermelon is very refreshing? Then you’ll love these tasty watermelon popsicles!
They are so refreshing and healthy! These popsicles will be an excellent treat during a hot summer day. They are made with fruit, some maple syrup, and a white layer made out of plant-based milk. I used an ice pop maker from Amazon. It works great for making layered pops.
Equipment
- Silicone Popsicle Molds
Ingredients
Red layer
- 450 g watermelon, cubed
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
White layer
- 1/4 cup plant-based milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Green layer
- 135 g kiwi fruit
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 small kale, (optional)
- 1-2 tbsp water
Instructions
- Cut watermelon into cubes.
- Please in a blender along with maple syrup and lemon juice.
- Blend until smooth.
- Fill the molds about 3/4 full.
- Freeze for 4 hours.
- Pour the white layer on the top of the first layer.
- Freeze for about an hour.
- Blend kiwi fruit, maple syrup, kale and water together.
- Pour green mixture into the molds over the white layer.
- Freeze for another hour.
- Enjoy refreshing popsicles and share with friends.
