Watermelon popsicles

Don’t you think that watermelon is very refreshing? Then you’ll love these tasty watermelon popsicles!

They are so refreshing and healthy! These popsicles will be an excellent treat during a hot summer day. They are made with fruit, some maple syrup, and a white layer made out of plant-based milk. I used an ice pop maker from Amazon. It works great for making layered pops.

Ingredients
  

Red layer

  • 450 g watermelon, cubed
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

White layer

Green layer

  • 135 g kiwi fruit
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 small kale, (optional)
  • 1-2 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Cut watermelon into cubes.
  • Please in a blender along with maple syrup and lemon juice.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Fill the molds about 3/4 full.
  • Freeze for 4 hours.
  • Pour the white layer on the top of the first layer.
  • Freeze for about an hour.
  • Blend kiwi fruit, maple syrup, kale and water together.
  • Pour green mixture into the molds over the white layer.
  • Freeze for another hour.
  • Enjoy refreshing popsicles and share with friends.
